As we continue to scale, we're looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, building and evolving the AI systems at the core of our platform.
The Senior AI Engineer is a highly experienced engineer responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving production-grade AI systems across the organisation. Our product centres on conversation transcription and translation, speaker identification, and AI models that analyse sales methodologies and skills, so this role sits at the heart of how we drive sales revenue, deliver a high-quality service that scales, and develop our pharma-specific product pipeline.
The role combines deep, hands-on AI engineering with pragmatic innovation. You will work on complex AI initiatives end-to-end and partner closely with product, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure AI delivers measurable business value.
You'll help shape and deliver production-grade AI solutions that power:
- Speech-to-text transcription and translation
- Speaker identification and diarisation
- Conversational intelligence and analytics
- Large Language Models (LLMs) and NLP solutions
- AI-driven insights that directly influence business decisions for global pharmaceutical clients
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll take ownership of complex AI initiatives from concept through to production, working closely with product, engineering and commercial teams to ensure AI delivers measurable business value.
We're interested in speaking with engineers who have:
- Experience: 5+ years in machine learning engineering or data science, operating at a senior level
- Speech & Audio AI: hands-on experience with audio and speech-to-text (ASR), including transcription, translation, speaker identification/diarization, and conversational analysis
- Language & Foundation Models: experience with LLMs, NLP, RAG, or fine-tuning foundation models applied to conversational or text data
- Classical ML: solid grounding in classical machine learning (e.g. classification, regression, clustering, feature engineering), not just deep learning and LLMs
- Inference Optimization: experience optimising model inference for latency, throughput, and cost in production (e.g. quantization, batching, hardware acceleration, serving optimisation)
- Production AI: proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining AI systems in production
- Programming: expert-level Python skills with strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing
- AI Frameworks: hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or similar frameworks
- Architecture: strong understanding of end-to-end AI system design, including data pipelines, training, deployment, and monitoring
- Problem Solving: ability to tackle ambiguous, complex technical problems pragmatically
- Communication: ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Business Impact: demonstrated ability to align AI work with business objectives
