The Director, US Client Relations is responsible for supporting the growth of the US business for ADVANCE®AI, becoming a trusted partner with clients, and coordinating consistent delivery of centrally driven programmes, through the US Customer Success team.
The role is primarily focused on new business acquisition, while also supporting strategic account growth and client retention within existing customers.
• Drive new business development across the United States by identifying, engaging and converting prospective pharmaceutical clients, building a robust pipeline of opportunities and securing new commercial partnerships.
• Lead the full sales process from stakeholder mapping and opportunity qualification through to proposal development, commercial negotiations, contract execution and client onboarding.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, positioning ADVANCE®AI as a trusted strategic partner and creating opportunities for long-term business growth.
• Partner with the Customer Success team to identify and realise account expansion opportunities within existing clients, supporting revenue growth and increased adoption of ADVANCE®AI solutions.
• Collaborate with Customer Success colleagues to ensure programmes are aligned to client objectives, supporting successful implementation, ongoing engagement and achievement of desired outcomes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Regional Leadership and General Managers, to support business development activities, share market intelligence and ensure a consistent client experience.
• Build and maintain a strong understanding of client business challenges, industry trends and market opportunities to inform commercial strategy and solution positioning.
• Represent ADVANCE®AI professionally within the pharmaceutical industry, enhancing brand awareness, strengthening market presence and contributing to the company’s growth objectives in North America.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting and client account plans to support effective business planning and performance management.
Essential:
Minimum of 5 years’ proven track record of successful business development and new client acquisition within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences or related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to sell complex solutions and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract signature.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience identifying and developing growth opportunities within key accounts.
• Ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including commercial, marketing, medical and executive leadership teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Results-oriented with a proactive, self-motivated approach and a strong focus on achieving commercial objectives.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and high-growth environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into client value.

• Understanding of artificial intelligence, data analytics or digital transformation solutions within healthcare.
